NEST Analysis – Just like all new programs, Madison is given a bit of a grace period while they develop. Growing the game of soccer should be the primary objective of all soccer supporters. It is wonderful to see that students attending Madison High School can now participate in soccer. Madison is a community that can develop a soccer rich tradition, so this story is only getting started. A three win increase between 2018 and 2019 is a great sign of progress. As the team gains momentum, numbers and buy-in will also increase. Further evidence of progression is shown by how they now have a player gathering statewide attention. Ehlaw Thay will provide the Dragons with excitement on the field. More importantly, Thay is a player that younger athletes can look up to. Another increase in winning percentage will improve the outlook of Madison.

NEST Analysis – When it comes to Class B, there are several programs that are in the same circumstance as Conestoga. Nebraska Soccer Talk needs more time to observe and learn about this team. To give attention and promotion to these teams and players is a major purpose behind our site. Talent can be found everywhere in the state of Nebraska, and Conestoga is no exception to that fact. We look forward to interacting with these programs and providing them coverage. A few things that are known about Conestoga are that this is a program in need of a revamp and identity. They were able to find more success in 2019, which is a positive sign that can be latched onto. The Cougar players have an opportunity during the 2021 season to put their program on the map. Further proof of progress will do a great deal for the outlook of this program.

NEST Analysis – 2021 will be a season full of firsts for Elkhorn North. Little is known about the newest program in Class B. They will be one of the youngest varsity squads in the state with mainly freshmen and sophomore players. However, inexperience does not directly put limits on talent, as proven by Elkhorn North’s basketball team. 2021 will be an incredible opportunity for many young players to introduce themselves to the state. The Wolves will be one of the most interesting stories, not only this year, but for the foreseeable future.
